La Gloria Cubana Delicioso Review – Cuban Regional Edition

La Gloria Cubana Delicioso is the first Cuban regional edition cigar released in a Jar of 25 which is the most attractive think about this cigar. You can only purchase these cigars in Cuba as I did. The price is about $220 USD in Cuba and available only at government authorized stores.

The jar comes with a built-in humidifier and cedar linings on top and around the cigars. Its a well built jar and I think it will be a collectors piece. These cigars are almost robustos, shy of 0.2 ring gauge which is 48×5 but more or less feels like a robusto on your hands.

The construction is really good and the draw was near perfect. After lighting up the cigar you are greeted with lots of citrus which was overwhelming but after the first third the citrus disappeared and more of a mild, Cuban tobacco flavor, liquorish and cedar came through which made it a very nice, light bodied cigar perfect for morning smokes with a coffee.

The entire cigar burned really well and despite some citrus and bitterness all-n-all the cigar was enjoyable and I will definitely smoke another one as a morning smoke. Enjoy the short video below.
