Spring Cigar Event March 8th, Drake Hotel Rooftop

Spring is in the air and days are already longer, it’s time to get out for a smoke under The Drake Hotel rooftop heaters.
Planning a casual get together to chat and have a smoke. We are getting together this Sunday, March 8th 2009, 6 PM (until late night) at The Drake Hotel heated rooftop located at 1150 QUEEN STREET W. TORONTO ONTARIO M6J 1J3.
I will also bring some extra cigars from my own humidor (on the house) for those of us who don’t have any cigars or like to experience Nicaraguan stogies, the Don Pepin Garcia black label Robusto and Tatuaje Serie P Corona Gorda.

Hello Alex,
How did this event go? Did many people attend? Was there anything outstanding in particular? I think it was rainy that night and a bit too cold?
I was able to go to the Drake, and I got a chance to check it out for the first time, just last week; however, it was way too cold to sit out on the patio upstairs and enjoy a cigar!
When will your next cigar meet take place?
I missed it too because I had the flu. It was cold and wet that night. I would like a cigar night this summer. Anyone game?

I missed that one due to the fact that I work on Sunday nights; however, Fridays and Saturdays are good nights for me! I’m game for these two nights…I just need to know in advance (unless you are thinking of the Sunday night, the 2nd of August! This I can do–I’ve got it off! Ironically, NOT the Friday or Saturday of any of that weekend or the next (Aug 7-9)! Can’t do any of those nights.) But hey, we’ve got to keep trying!
You update the youtube channel but it would be nice to have new reviews on the blog.
When’s the next group smoke on? Is it on a Friday night or Saturday night (it’ best for me). Thanks.
