Montecristo Sublime Limited Edition 2008
Posted on November 24th, 2008 by CigarBunch.com
This video review is for Montecristo Sublime Limited Edition 2008, the picture-perfect cigar with oily wrapper, flawless construction which delivers the true Cuban complexity and flavors. This time I tried something new and made this video black/white to resolve the lighting problems. In this video I go over most of the 2008 new releases from Cuba and how they performed compared to Montecristo Sublime Limited Edition 2008.
Enjoy.

After seeing this video review I bought a brand new box of 10 at Cas Del Habano in Toronto Yorkville Jan 2, 2009. A major investment at about $475 for the box. Being that I am not allowed to smoke in my own house, I bundled up and went outside on one of the coldest days of winter. I had a 25 yr old Linkwood single malt scotch on the rocks and a bottled of President’s Choice spring water. As Alex demonstrated, the cigar burned rather unevenly for it’s entirety. The ash was gray and flaky – not a good idea to smoke this wearing a suit! The smoke lasted over 1 hour. The draw was perfect. There was no bitter taste during the duration of the smoke. I found that this cigar did not seem to be as peppery as a Montecristo #2. But it was smoother. I think this cigar may be better with a dark rum or less smokey blended scotch or maybe even cognac. I intend to experiment further in that regard. Overall a very good cigar but at that price level there are many competitive choices to the consumer .
Great review and great site. Agree with the review. Had one of these in Cuba in December. Draw was perfect with even burn.
Hi Alex, picked up a box of these a few months back, havent tried them yet as letting them age a while. Awesome review, would be good to get similar reviews of the Hoyo Regalos? Keep up the good work!
Cheers.
I had lower back pain quite some time, and I tried numerous things. Everything I tried did not relief my low back pain until I found help here.P. S. : Grab a Gratis copy of the new book titled “The 7 Day Back Pain Cure”. And hurry- this offer will be taken from the market at any time!
Great Cigar gonna be in Dubai soon and so looking to purchase a box. I love the chocolate flavour it has and the mix with spicy/cedar/woody notes. A word of advice though the burn of a cigar can vary with how it was lit because I lit mine with Cedar Matches and it burn farely well. Blue flame lighters because of the imense heat make it almost impossible to get an even light because holding the lighter a few seconds in one place can make it hotter than another making one corner easier to draw than another unevening the cigar. Just saying.

If you are in the corner and have got no cash to get out from that, you would require to receive the business loans. Just because that should aid you for sure. I take financial loan every time I need and feel good just because of it.
