  1. That’s interesting–you paired it with ice water. I tend to do that with the Genios but, I always try and use bottled water whenever I can. It brings out/renews the raw cigar-smokey taste in the cigar. Once in awhile, I’ll deviate from a wee dram of Scotch and have nothing with my cigar—just to get the unadulterated, stand alone, bold taste of it. As a matter of fact, I think I’m beginning to enjoy it a bit too much!

  2. Sorry, I forgot to mention the real reason for replying to your review. I find that the Secretos embody a strong richness that the Genios or Magicos models lack. These little guys have such a nice concentrated but powerful body to them. Do you find this to be true? How do you find the richness/strength of this cigar? (Not to be confused with the taste/flavour.)

  3. Absolutely true. I think this cigar is very rich and full body packed in such a small cigar. I love dark chocolate and this cigar difinatelty satisfied that crave of mine.

  4. Wow these are good! Received a box on Saturday and after a long day at work I popped open the box and tried one – they are really really good i love the sweetness of the maduro wrapper. These could be my new favourite!

Would be good to see some more video reviews – perhaps the new Boli EL?

  5. A whole box! How long would that box last you, Matthew? I reckon it would last me about…one month, in the summertime. Of course, if we really had summer-like weather (we didn’t this summer) but theoretically, one box of Secretos would last me two or three months of good summer weather. You know, lots of patios to relax and smoke on plus those warm summer nights anywhere there is a place to sit back and relax with a small cigar (Robustos is usually the ’smallest’ cigar I smoke, ‘usually’.)
