La Casa Del Habano Yorkville
Prices: 4 x Cuba
Selection: Big variety with little plume
Staff: Friendly
Rating: 9/10
La Casa Del Habano is located in the heart of Toronto’s high end neighborhood 141 Yorkville street. This shop moved from Avenue road to Yorkville while back and now they have a really modern store with a good selection. Store feels very open and their glass walk-in humidor is top notch. When you walk in the store, staff is friendly and they show you around. I felt their humidor is a little too cold but cigar are pluming really nice. Prices are exactly 4 times what you get in Cuba but quality of their cigars is really high. I purchased a Partagas Culebras and I was happy with it. Unfortunately they don’t have a website but you can view some information from La Casa Del Habano website

Hello,
I am travelling to Cuba mid April and wondered if you needed any cigars brought back?
wow…Spent 20 mins on google to re-find this blog. Going to subscribe
Howdy,
Ill be traveling to toronto in May and will be staying near here. Has anyone been to this shop recently who can give me some insight or update on the prices, selection, service, ect.
Thanks for your help!
I just visited there on Sunday, 08 January, 2012 Dominic, my first time. Staff was extremely attentive. I was specifically looking for some cigars with age, and she was very helpful in finding some for me, even though they don’t make of point of keeping aged cigars. I found some Siglo I from 2005, Raphael Gonzales Coronas Extra 2008, and Maduro 5 Secretos 2007. They also have lots of Canadian RE from various dates, 2008, 2009, etc.
Selection really can’t be beat, after all, it is LCDH! They pretty much have everything. (except no La Gloria Cubana)
Prices? Well, again, it is LCDH in Canada, so don’t expect to find any bargains! There is, however, a box in the humidor with cigars that have some foot damage for 20% discount. I found a BHK-52 and a Cohiba Robusto in there.
Thanks! That helps alot!
