Cheers smoke shop is located on McCaul street downtown Toronto which is Dundas and University area. Owner’s name is Peter. He is a importer himself. It’s the best place to get your samplers since he has the best prices in Toronto. His collection contains Cohibas, Bolivars, Romeo Julietas and many more well known brand and sizes. He carries most of the famous cigars and prices are almost 2/5 times the prices in Cuba.

Update.
I went here a few weeks ago to pickup a few singles but they were closed in the afternoon of all things.
So I tried again this afternoon to pickup some singles but they were closed and it was only 5:00 PM!!!
I hope it isn’t going under. Even if the owner can sometimes be a bit rude, his prices are very good.
Cheers owners Peter and his wife are on vacation right now……closed for a week or so – hopefully they’ll be back soon!
[...] tobacco at Thomas Hinds is about ten dollars more expensive per tin than at Cheers. For the same tobacco. No one other than the Calvinists has ever thought people have more money [...]
Hi there,
I am hoping that you could be of assistance. I am trying to locate a cigar maker for a venue, would you know of someone within the industry & be able to refer them to me. Your assistance would be appreciated.
Regards,
Dianne
does anyone know what hours Cheers is open? I’ve been twice now (fri at around 7:00pm and sat at 1:30pm) and they were closed both times. there are no hours of operation posted at the store. when I call the number listed above it goes straight to a fax and there is no message stating when they are open. have they closed down?
Matt, I pass by Cheers almost everyday around noon and they seem to usually be open then. Early afternoon may also be a good time to stop by. Hope this helps!
Cheers is open Mon. through Thurs. Closed Friday to Sunday. Hope this
helps.

The person I dealt with was grumpy and cold…. but I picked up a very nice Montecristo #2 (my fav smoke) for $20. Know what you want before you go, grab it (take advantage of great prices), and get the he!! outta there!
Please check out the new site—> http://cigaropolis.com/ <—-and leave a message on the guest book!
Thanks for the information provided! I was looking for this information for quite some time, but I wasn’t able to see a dependable source.
Wonderful goods from you, man. I’ve understand your stuff previous to and you’re just too fantastic. I actually like what you have acquired here, really like what you’re saying and the way in which you say it. You make it enjoyable and you still care for to keep it smart. I cant wait to read far more from you. This is actually a great website.
The guy comes off as rude, and acts like he’s not interested in your business… but the prices are significantly cheaper then anyone else by far. I think he knows this, and thus your going to take advantage of the savings, and come back regardless. I do!!! He may not realize his attitude, but it’s a turn off regardless.
Most cigars are at least a good $5-10 cheaper. Not sure how he does it.
I bought a variety of Montecristo’s, and the majority of them had major plume on them.
Make your life more easy get the home loans and everything you require.
I prefer this store over anyone else in Toronto.
This guy has the best selection for the prices.
Monte # 2’s here at $20 are the cheapest I have found anywhere. He seems to have the most decent amount of different types of Cubans (he doesnt carry non-cubans) around.
Everyone is right saying he sells for about 5-10 bucks cheaper than everyone else.
Im not sure why everyone seems to have received the rude side of him? He is very cool with me, talked to me about his business, how he doesnt try to rip people off with his pricing, ordering online. etc. Very cool guy with me.
I just want to tell you that I am just all new to blogging and site-building and honestly savored this website. Most likely I’m planning to bookmark your blog . You surely come with impressive articles. Kudos for revealing your web-site.
Went to Cheers on May 26, 2011. The store was shut tight.
Hope they reopen soon.
I went here at 2:30PM Tuesday May 31 and they were closed, I’ve driven by here a bunch of times and never seen the place open? I hope they haven’t gone under. If your making a special trip out there call first or go somewhere with regular hours.
If you are looking for fake friendliness, you will need to go to LCDH and pay double. Peter is a quality source for a great price. I actually find him very genuine and nice. His quality and prices are top notch. His prices rival legit and safe online Canadian sources.
Im new to smoking cigars and i viewed a video on cuban cigars i believe on yourube..well anyways they were talking how cigars are made and the care put into them. Now after purchasing several cigars from cheers, i notices that there were often inconsistencies. if u go and see the bolivar royal corona box of his, one side is a diffrent shade than the other. also many of his cigars have flaws on thier wrapper. they’ll either be damaged or discolored. today i purchased a partagas and it had green on it i had to make the lady show me several others before i found one i was content with. the wrappers on the cigars i baught from him were not nearly as nice as the non cuban ones i baught elsewhere. now am i looking into this too hard or is he the one being deviant?
I’ve been here twice now and have found like everyone else his prices are at least $5 cheaper then elsewhere.
His hours are 7-7
Here are some examples of prices:
Cohiba
– Behike 52 $50
– Siglo I $14.50
Montecristo
– No. 4 $11
– No. 2 $20
Partagas
– Shorts $9
I should also note that all of the prices are tax inclusive.
Just when I was about to give up on Toronto as a Legitimate cigar town (because of the ridiculously high prices) in walked Cheers cigar shop!!! While they didn’t have some stock that I was looking for the owner did informed me that he is currently awaiting a shipment from Cuba. They did had plenty of subs for me to choose from. Rafael Gonzalez Extra Panatelas(one of my personal favorites) for C$3.75 Wow. This shop is Great and all the stock is on display and well humidified. The owner is very helpful and friendly and his wife was as well I really like them both. The shop is setup nicely and the CIGAR PRICES ARE RIGHT!!! Get’Em while they Got’em!!! & Smoke’Em if U Got’em!!! Peace
Thanks for the information provided! I was looking for this information for Millermatic 180 quite some time, but I wasn’t able to see a dependable source.
Peter warms up once you get to know him a bit. He is a genuine good guy from what I can tell. Not sure what the whining and complaining is all about here with Cheers.
It is a family business so when Peter is on vacation, they are closed!!! I have been there 4 or 5 times since August and Cheers is ALWAYS OPEN! This is my go to store now based on price and quality.
The plume on some of the sticks are simply outstanding. I had an HOYO Epicure No. 2 with plume on top of plume – and was so tasty.
I was there today and just bought a Partagas Lusitania and can’t wait to sit down and enjoy two plus hours enjoyment (but it is getting too damn cold outside!)
He has great stock, is very knowledgable and I don’t know how he gets his prices so low – taxes in!
Outstanding little shop that I go out of my way to visit.
